Made with love.
Many of Sydney’s restaurants have heavily Italian influenced menus, but it’s hard to know where to find the kind of food Nona would approve of. We are talking plentiful helpings of handmade lasagne, gnocchi, authentic Italian pizza, calzone and focaccias along with melt in the mouth flavourful prosciutto, mozzarella, juicy olives and fresh seafood. These classic, affordable red-sauce and pizza places are getting harder to find – but there’s a brand-new kid on the block that is guaranteed to have the Sydney CBD buzzing – Amore Ristorante.
The two Italian born and trained restauranteurs behind Amore have great credentials having honed their skills in Italy before working at the local Italian dining institutions in Sydney. Amore brings authentic Italian flavours that Sydneysiders have loved for over 30 years, right into the heart of the city.
Open for lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday, you can expect generous servings of traditional Italian food, crafted with love –the kind of place that will fill your stomach and warm your heart.
EFREM GORNI & MANUEL MIRRI
Efrem and Manuel are the two restaurateurs behind Amore. Born in the nearby villages of Pinzolo and Botticino in northern Italy, they have been friends for over 25 years. As fate would have it, they have now embarked on their own restaurant adventure with Club York and Amore Ristorante. As head chef, you’ll find Efrem controlling the kitchen with passion and precision whilst Manuel captains front of house, ensuring every guest receives that exceptional authentic Italian dining experience.
