What's On at Club York This October
October arrives with the biggest weekend in rugby league, two Saturdays of Bledisloe Cup, a final chance at one of the most talked-about nights in the CBD, and the first tickets to the race that stops the nation. Here's everything happening at Club York this month — and one date to keep clear.
The NRL Grand Final — Sunday 4 October
The season ends this Sunday, and it ends on the big screens at Club York.
Doors are open, the bars are running, and the CBD's best room for a Grand Final is right where it always is. Get in early — the good tables go first, and this is the one Sunday of the year where early matters.
And because it's Sunday, all pints are $10, all day. (for members)
A note on the long weekend
Club York will be closed on Monday 5 October for the Labour Day public holiday.
We're back to our usual seven days from Tuesday 6 October. Plan the Sunday accordingly.
The Birdcage on York — Final Tickets, Saturday 10 October
This is the last chance for October.
The Birdcage on York is the vintage, burlesque-inspired dinner and show that has become one of the most requested nights in the CBD — feathers, fan dancers, glittering diamonds and beautifully orchestrated production routines.
A very particular kind of night that people talk about for weeks afterwards.
Three courses, alternate serve, with dietary requirements catered for on request. Dinner is served from 7pm, the show begins at 8pm and finishes around 10:15pm. $130 per person. Adults only, 18+.
It's a natural fit for hens nights, milestone birthdays, end-of-year work parties, or an intimate dinner for two. Large groups are very welcome — and with a different theme each month, there's every reason to dress for it.

Looking ahead: November's theme is The Great Gatsby — a tribute to burlesque of the Gatsby era, from the 1920s through to the fabulous '40s, with a modern-day twist.

Bledisloe Cup — Saturday 10 and Saturday 17 October
Rugby union takes the screens for two Saturdays running.
The Wallabies meet the All Blacks at Eden Park on Saturday 10 October, then again on home soil at Accor Stadium on Saturday 17 October. Both are showing at Club York, on the big screens, with the bar in full swing.
Saturday is also Cocktail Happy Hour — all cocktails $13 from 7pm to 9pm — so the rugby rolls straight into the evening without anyone having to move.
Melbourne Cup — Tickets Are Live
Tickets to Melbourne Cup Day at Club York are on sale now for Tuesday 3 November.
Fascinators, frocks, and a long lunch that runs well past the last race. It's the CBD's easiest yes for a team day out or a table of friends — and it's one of the few days of the year the whole city agrees on.

Happy Hour — Monday to Friday, 4:30pm to 6:30pm. Draught beer and house wine $6. Premium beer and house spirits $7.50.
Cocktail Happy Hour — Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, 7pm to 9pm. All cocktails $13, across Club York's bars.
Sunday Pints — $10 pints, all day, every Sunday.
Double Points — earn double on every spend from Friday open to Sunday close.
