Overview: Club York recognises the competitive landscape of the food and beverage industry in our location, situated in the CBD of an international tourism destination city, we also see an amazing opportunity to be a part of the reinvigoration of the Sydney CBD. Our ultimate goal remains steadfast: to provide a quality service, product, and experience to all patrons while remaining affordable and competitive.
Current Phase: Renovations will begin Monday June 24th. The first stage of the project will involve the closure of the Bar 99 section on the ground floor and reception. The ground floor will undergo a comprehensive transformation, featuring a new central bar that will serve as the focal point of the club. Additionally, all gaming facilities will be relocated to the ground floor, housed within a new gaming room with an alfresco area at the front, catering to both gaming and non-gaming patrons. Catering operations, Zabou Bar, Gaming, and Functions on Level 2 will continue to operate as usual. The first stage completion is anticipated to hand over around the end of October 2024.
Next Steps: With the gaming area moved from level one, we’ll expand the York Street balcony, creating a welcoming alfresco dining and bar area with lounge seating and multiple screens for sports.
Construction Update: Bar 99 and the reception area are currently under construction.
Open Amenities: Gaming areas on the ground floor and level 1, Zabou Bar and Grill, and Primi Italian remain open. Some services may be temporarily relocated to accommodate the refurbishment. We aim to minimize disruptions and ensure members continue to enjoy the core facilities during this period.
